Ribbon Skirts Classes

Both the Culture Night and Elders Time activities during January focused around making ribbon skirts, guided by the Cultural Resources Program.

During the classes, the Takelma Language team created a learning board and a game with words for the items on the skirts, the colors, and more.

“All the classes were so fun,” said Cassandra Nava, Cultural Resource Coordinator, “everyone being together, hanging out, and creating something beautiful.”
