New Announcements from CCH&WC Pharmacy

Cow Creek Health & Wellness Center (CCH&WC) Pharmacy is pleased to offer convenient and affordable services to the local community. Cow Creek Umpqua Tribal members with Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) are eligible to receive their medications at no cost when prescriptions are filled at the CCH&WC pharmacy. Additionally, prescriptions filled on-site no longer require submission of receipts to the Tribal Government Offices, simplifying the process for patients.

Any non–Cow Creek Umpqua patients who carry Benecard or Umpqua Health Alliance (UHA) insurance may also receive pharmacy services at CCH&WC. For
those with Benecard coverage, Tribal employees and their dependents will be charged the pharmacy’s cost when it is lower than their standard co-pay.

For CCH&WC patients, the pharmacy offers competitive cash pricing on prescriptions, which in some cases may be lower than insurance co-pays. Pricing  information is available upon request, either by phone or in person.

CCH&WC is contracting with several pharmacy benefit companies so as to eventually serve all patients of CCH&WC, not just those with the insurances listed previously. This contracting is a lengthy process, but CCH&WC has prioritized opening services to serve Cow Creek Umpqua Tribal membership first while negotiations are still underway.

Mail-order delivery to patients’ homes is expected to be available within the next month, with a $10 shipping fee plus the cost of prescriptions. While not all medications may be immediately in stock, most can be ordered for next-day availability. The pharmacy also carries a limited selection of over-the-counter
medications and supplements for purchase.

CCH&WC is committed to improving access,
affordability, and convenience for all of their patients.
