Federal Staff Tour Cow Creek Umpqua Lands and Facilities

Nine staff members from the Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) visited the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians for a cultural presentation, housing tour, and tour of the UIUC operations in early June.

The group included Brenda Bateman, the Director of the Department of Land Conservation and Development, and two DLCD staff members, Ethan Stuckmayer, and Celestina Teva. The group has been working closely with the Wìli Tribal Housing Program to facilitate funding for planning processes for future housing and housing related services, and to ensure that the Tribe’s feedback is reflected in the Oregon Housing Needs Analysis process.
