Outstanding Patient Satisfaction Reported at Tribal Clinics

New surveys from Cow Creek Health and Wellness Center show patients are thrilled with the new providers in the clinics and their ability to meet with Tribal members quickly about their healthcare.

The surveys were sent to patients who completed a visit at either the Roseburg clinic, Canyonville clinic, or Behavioral Health. In the last year, several new providers have joined the staff at CCHWC, rounding out the staff for a total of six primary care providers.

Here are some statistics from the surveys:

• 85% of responders said they were very satisfied with their overall experience at Cow Creek Health and Wellness.

• 91% of responders said their provider displayed excellent communication and attentiveness during their visit

• 78% of responders said their provider always talks with them about all their medicines and prescriptions during their visit Several responders also left comments, praising the level of care they received:

• “I have been with Cow Creek since 2020 and my new doctor, [Vanessa] Copeland is amazing. Great hire for this network. Thank you.”

• “I just love Dr. O. [Dr. Lorrie Oksenholt] and her staff! First time seeing her.”

• “I’m a new patient and [saw] Michelle Phelps for the first time. She is absolutely AMAZING. She truly listened to all of my health concerns in the first appointment, more than I have gotten from my previous provider in the past 3 years (at a different facility). I appreciated how easy going and comfortable she made me feel as well as her knowledge. Truly wish I would have found her sooner.”

• “The office [staff] is a pleasure to talk to and always kind. Ben [Jeppe] is always very attentive and provides excellent care.”
