DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, May 5\, at 3:30 pm\, Tribal families and Tribal members are invited to join a remote cook-along event with Chef Nephi Craig. Participants are encouraged\, though not required\, to cook-along in their own kitchen during Chef Craig’s demonstration. \nChef Craig is the founder of the Native American Culinary Association. DESCRIPTION:As part of the 2022 Spring Break Culture Days\, the Cow Creek Cultural Resources Program will be hosting a Block Party on Wednesday\, March 23 from 10AM-2PM in the Taylor Street/Gentry Loop area of Wili Tribal Housing Neighborhood in Myrtle Creek (239 Taylor Street\, Myrtle Creek). \nMultiple departments from the Cow Creek Government Offices will be there to engage with Tribal members about education\, health\, programs and assistance available\, and will be spending time getting to know the community and younger Tribal members as well. \nFood will be on site. \nTribal youths are encouraged to attend to learn more about flint knapping as well as archeology. \nIf you are planning to attend\, please RSVP by emailing info-culturalresources@cowcreek-nsn.gov by March 7. \nLearn more about the Cultural Resources Program: https://www.cowcreek-nsn.gov/wordpress/tribal/culture/
