SUMMARY:EHYC Summer STEAM Program: Cow Creek Culture
DESCRIPTION:Enhance childhood learning this summer with the Expanding Youth Horizons Center (EHYC) annual Summer STEAM Program! \nClasses are held most Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11AM-3PM. Classes are for children in grades 3-12; all kids must be registered prior to attending. \nAll Summer STEAM program classes are held at the Tribal Community Center\, located at 825 NE Leon St. in Myrtle Creek. Transportation options are available\, please call/email to ask. \nRegister for one class or for all! \nSummer STEAM Program Schedule: \n\nEnvironmental Health: June 21-23\, 2022\nSoap Making and Copper Working: June 28-30\, 2022\nPrevention Team: July 5-7\, 2022\nCooking Class with Cow Creek Health & Wellness Dieticians: July 26-28\, 2022\nTakelma Language Lesson with Cow Creek Takelma Language Team: August 2-4\, 2022\nCow Creek Culture Lessons with Cultural Resources Team: August 9-11\, 2022\nRobotics and Spike Prime Robot with UCC instructors: August 16-18\, 2022\n\nSome class activities include field trips with transportation provided. \nSTEAM (sometimes known as STEM) stands for: science\, technology\, engineering\, arts\, and mathematics.
